Pierwszym bohaterem naszego cyklu Mistrzejowice z pasją jest Michał Drewnicki – radny Miasta Krakowa, który całą swoją energię poświęca na rzecz mieszkańców Krakowa, Nowej Huty i Mistrzejowic. Będzie on również naszym gościem specjalnym na Mistrzejowickim Spotkaniu 8 grudnia o godzinie 19.30 🙂
W sobotnie, listopadowe popołudnie spotkaliśmy się z Michałem na małą sesje zdjęciową do naszego wywiadu, podczas której bohater naszego artykułu oprowadził nas po części dzielnicy, pokazując plany dotyczące zagospodarowania terenów zielonych w Mistrzejowicach. Podczas rozmowy zdradził nam, dlaczego Mistrzejowice są dla niego wyjątkowe, oraz opowiedział o projektach, w które się angażuje i z czym chce walczyć, aby w dzielnicy żyło się jeszcze lepiej. - Jak długo mieszkasz w Mistrzejowicach?
W Mistrzejowicach mieszkam od urodzenia. Mistrzejowice to piękna dzielnica, z fantastycznymi parkami, dobrze skomunikowana (chociaż zawsze mogło być lepiej) i z miłymi sąsiadami i mieszkańcami. Polecam każdemu.
- Co uważasz za wyjątkowe w Mistrzejowicach? Czy masz swoje ulubione miejsca w dzielnicy?
Mistrzejowice są fantastyczne z wielu powodów. Po pierwsze nasze osiedla są spokojne i dobrze zorganizowane. Wystarczy wyjść kilkanaście metrów od swojego bloku, by cieszyć się zielenią i naszymi parkami. Po drugie, mimo, że nasza dzielnica jest na uboczu, to do centrum mamy bardzo blisko. Po trzecie, Mistrzejowice mają wiele ciekawych miejsc jak Forty, Skate Park, z których możemy być dumni.
- Czy widzisz jakieś problemy w dzielnicy, które można by naprawić? Czy jest coś, co byś zmienił?
Przede wszystkim musimy walczyć z „dziką” zabudową i betonowaniem dzielnicy. Jest to problem widoczny w całym Krakowie. Mieliśmy np. próbę zabudowy całego terenu zielonego powyżej pętli Złotego Wieku. W tym przypadku udało się wygrać. Dlatego jako radny walczę o tworzenie miejscowych planów zagospodarowania przestrzennego – składałem liczne interpelacje, a także dzięki mojej uchwale powstanie plan ochrony osiedli Tysiąclecia, Oświecenia i Kombatantów. W tej chwili również na ukończeniu jest plan ochronny dla Złotego Wieku i Srebrnych Orłów. Przypomnę, że do tej pory żadne osiedle nie było chronione przez plan. Teraz się to bardzo szybko zmienia! Na ochronę czekają też następne osiedla.
- Kiedy zacząłeś interesować się działaniem społecznym na rzecz mieszkańców dzielnicy?
Właściwie od szkoły podstawowej. Pamiętam liczne konkursy o samorządzie, o Nowej Hucie jako małej Ojczyźnie. Późniejsza decyzja o kandydowaniu na radnego dzielnicy i bardzo aktywne działanie spowodowały, że mieszkańcy wybrali mnie radnym miasta Krakowa. Dzisiaj również staram się bardzo mocno angażować w życie dzielnicy i miasta, a przykładem są liczne pomysły, jak choćby napisana przeze mnie uchwała, dzięki której powstanie najpiękniejszy park w Krakowie – Park Rzeczny Dłubnia czy wspomniane wcześniej plany zagospodarowania blokujące dewastację naszych osiedli.
- W jakie projekty się angażowałeś/angażujesz?
Jest ich bardzo wiele. Najważniejszym projektem jest rozwój Nowej Huty i Mistrzejowic. Uważam, że potencjał naszej dzielnicy był do tej pory niewykorzystany. Możemy robić więcej dla Nowej Huty, więcej dla Mistrzejowic. Przykłady nasuwają się same, to moje pomysły renowacji plenerowych dzieł sztuki na naszych osiedlach, miejscowe plany chroniące zieleń i ład przestrzenny przed dziką zabudową, stworzenie najpiękniejszego parku rzecznego w Krakowie – Dłubni czy rozwój transportu w okolicy osiedli Piastów i Bohaterów Września.
- Jakie masz jeszcze pasje/hobby?
Bardzo lubię fotografię. W wolnych chwilach uwielbiam też chodzić po górach. Wycieczki górskie pozwalają uporządkować wiele spraw, zmuszają do refleksji. Po trzecie lubię dużo czytać, szczególnie o historii Polski.
- Co w Twoich pasjach sprawia Ci największą przyjemność?
Fotografia pozwala inaczej spojrzeć na świat. Wymusza w pewien sposób przyglądanie się światu i ludziom. Można dostrzec wiele ciekawych rzeczy i w każdym człowieku znaleźć pasjonujące historie. Natomiast Kraków i Nowa Huta jako moja pasja jest realizowana poprzez radę miasta Krakowa. To tutaj mogę bezpośrednio wpływać na rozwój miasta i dzielnicy.
- Jak wygląda Twoja praca na co dzień?
Co dwa tygodnie mamy sesje i komisje. Cały tydzień spotykamy się, dyskutujemy, rozmawiamy i głosujemy.
- Co lubisz robić w wolnym czasie?
Czytać, fotografować, chodzić po górach, ale przede wszystkim spacerować po nowohuckich osiedlach lub krakowskich uliczkach.
- Jak można się z Tobą skontaktować?
Mailowo, poprzez facebooka. Również jest mi miło, gdy ktoś podejdzie czy to na przystanku, czy w parku i porozmawia ze mną o mieście. Każdy sposób komunikacji jest dobry. Zapraszam serdecznie!
